Having run a diverse arable farm with two livery yards in Hertfordshire for many years we decided to branch out in a new direction and start breeding horses.  We started our journey by carefully selecting a number of different broodmares, with the aim to produce pedigree Appaloosa and Appaloosa cross...  

The next step was to find a pure bred Appaloosa stallion, easier said than done, but after much research and searching, we finally found success, our stunning BApS Grade A, 100% foundation stallion, Ghost Fire Shadow, and also a little younger we now also have our two non-characteristic Appaloosa stallions Penycwms Brigadier and Centaur Strider.  

We’re now producing quality foals every year, some we aim to keep for our breeding herd and others are for sale.
